1. Cutting position
Any slitting machine has a certain slitting deviation. In order to ensure the integrity of the product pattern, the position of the knife must be fully considered when cutting the edge. The wrong cutting position will make it difficult to track stretched film or pattern defects.

In most cases, because the machine does not know the cutting position, the cutting is carried out conventionally, resulting in product loss. Therefore, when designing products and making cutting operation documents, the cutting position must be strictly and clearly expressed.

2. Cutting direction

Whether the cutting direction is correct directly affects the automatic packaging machine inkjet position, the sealing position of the finished product or the position of the special shape of the cutter. Of course, the wrong direction can be adjusted by adjusting the automatic packaging machine or finished product machine. However, this will greatly reduce the speed of automatic packaging or finished products and seriously affect production efficiency. Therefore, when signing a contract with the customer, the unwinding direction of the stretched film must be clear. For the finished product, the sealing position and tooling requirements of the finished product machine must be considered, and the correct cutting direction should be determined to avoid backtrip and secondary rewind.

3. Joint mode

Joint mode refers to the lap mode of the upper and lower membrane. There are generally two types of joints, namely sequential joints and reverse joints.
The opposite direction of connection will lead to poor membrane removal, mucous membrane, cutting, etc. Automatic packaging machine, resulting in downtime, seriously affect production efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the correct connection mode according to the requirements of the customer packaging machine. This must be made clear when signing a contract with a client. Often, customers are not aware of the packaging requirements for stretched film. However, as a stretched film manufacturer, it must consider all aspects for its customers.

4. seam tape color

Tape refers to plain polypropylene plastic tape used to bond stretched films.
In order to facilitate automatic packaging identification as well as finished product identification and testing, tape with a large contrast with the background color of the manufactured product is usually used. General customers do not have special provisions for this, but Stretch Film factories must make it clear that the same product of the same manufacturer must use the same color of tape, and cannot be changed, so as to facilitate management and control, and prevent confusion. Effective control over the use of tape can completely avoid unnecessary trouble caused by the combination product wandering in the market or falling into the hands of customers.

5. Joint bonding method

Joint bonding generally adopts pattern or cursor docking method, which can fully ensure that the stretched film is not affected by the joint during the film movement, and can be continuously produced without reducing the production efficiency. When the finished roll is automatically packed, both ends of the tape are not allowed to turn over. It is required to be aligned and tightly fitted to the film width. The finished product roll generally requires one end of the tape to be turned over to pay attention to the joint position in the finished product process and strictly control the mixing of the joint bag with the finished product bag.
